STORY MAPPING COMMUNITIES are local communities who are in the process of re-mapping their mythical geography by connecting it with its geo-located stories: where the stories originated, were conceived and are told. Story mapping is a means of reclaiming your world by changing the way you look at it.

We believe that stories of the world’s places should be told, and depicted, not just by a few professionals or central institutions, but by the people who live and work in these places, on their own terms.
